The Buyer
Philippa Clarke started her career in retail in a Graduate buying role at Aherns Department Store W.A. Aherns was a 5 store business and the much coveted buying trainee roles were hard to get. Philippa's first role was as Gift Buyer. She quickly turned the traditional gift department from pot pourri and draw liners to an exciting destination for new and different gifts , sourcing out of Indonesia , Thailand, Philippines, Hong Kong and Australia. After a wonderful training role , Philippa was then buyer for Childrenwear and Womens accessories, followed by Marketing officer and then promoted to Senior Womenswear Buyer. This role meant a lot of travel, both within Australia and Overseas, sourcing branded designer labels along with the role of training the new graduate buyers. Philippa stayed with Aherns until the business was bought by David Jones. David Jones locations are in the 5 stores that were once Aherns. With such extensive training and retail experience it was no surprise when she decided to open her own boutique. Since I Found You is a fashion and lifestyle boutique sourcing different designs with quality fabrics for the Australian Woman. Clothes that are easy to wear, day ware to casual special occasions. Always a little bit of boho style thrown in.Labels stocked include Alessandra, Betty Basics, Bianco Jeans, Cat Hammill ,Cle the Label , Elm Lifestyle ,Elk the Label, Fate and Becker, Holiday, Hut Linen, Humidity, Jolie & Deen,Jovie the Label.
